Colleagues with a military background have proven accelerated career pathways through their leadership and integrity. Nearly half of HCA Healthcare’s Information Technology Group’s Emerging Leaders Class of 2019 are junior military officers (JMOs) and 49 HCA Healthcare senior executives are military veterans.

In addition to our Military Friendly® designation, HCA Healthcare sits on the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Military Spouse Employment Advisory Council and recently partnered on the Hiring 100,000 Military Spouses campaign. In the past year, HCA Healthcare has brought on 1,000 military spouses and has committed to hiring 1,100 more annually in both 2020 and 2021.

This past April, HCA Healthcare and the U.S Army Medical Recruiting Brigade signed a partnership allowing the Army to provide specialized training for our organization’s residency and fellowship programs nationwide.

Through the agreement, known as the Patriot Partnership Program, the oldest and largest branch of our nation’s military will provide subject matter experts to conduct clinics, lectures, grand rounds and combat casualty care and training in the areas of infectious disease control, mass casualty response and emergency trauma.
